Head Coach: Jared Plahn

I have always enjoyed working with kids and coaching swimming has become the perfect way for me to work with children. In March of 2000 I joined the coaching staff, instructing the age group. I took over as head coach in September of 2000, with a short term as Intern Head Coach. This is not my only experience with the Sea Lions Swim Team.

I started swimming when I was 6 on the Sea Lions Swim Team for a few years. I rejoined the team again during high school for three years when I wasn't on the high school team. After I graduated from St. Helens High School I went to Oregon State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in geography, in 1999.
