Volunteers make a world of difference!

The Columbia County Women's Resource Center is always looking for volunteers to help with all the projects we have in progress.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Working on the crisis line
• Helping with children's activities
• Learning the school programs
• Various office jobs
• Outreach in towns outside St. Helens
• Yard and/or maintenance work

Please consider spending a little time with us this year.

• June 26, 03 ~ Sexual Assault Advocacy and Response Training, given by Brandi Bonney, 1pm - 4pm @ CCWRC

Join our staff and volunteers in helping Columbia County stop domestic violence. The following are samples of the volunteer opportunities currently available:

• Community education – working with volunteers and staff to educate our community partners and the students in the Columbia County area.

• Support group co-facilitator – working with our trained staff to facilitate groups such as women’s issues, sexual assault, etc. as well as play therapy for children who have witnessed domestic violence and our new parenting class to be offered.

• Librarian – working to organize and catalog our library materials, filing library applications, shelving returned materials and following up on late returns.

• Front desk worker – answering phones, filing, taking messages, and various other office tasks.
